Order of Events

BACKGROUND: We started this campaign in August of 1994 but then stopped playing Twilight:2000 until the Summer of 2001 when we brushed the dust off the campaign and kept playing, until we finished the Europe modules in February, 2004.

In October of 2011, we started the next chapter of the campaign, entitled Winter Twilight, which picks up as the players return to Norfolk VA to run though the modules set in the United States.

Winter Twilight

October 31, 2011 - Six and a half years later we are picking up the Twilight / Aftermath! books and starting a new chapter called Winter Twilight. After a rough November voyage across the Atlantic, the players find themselves in Newport News, VA to find themselves in the middle of a nation struggling against the darkness...

Check out the campaign log.

Autumn Twilight

March 10, 2004 - The final updates for the Autumn Twilight campaign are in. The printable Order of Battle is 73 pages long! Now THIS is a campaign log. I expect that we'll play this game again, because there remain all the US modules to be played. Coming eventually, Winter Twilight...

Here's a map of the players' route through Autumn Twilight:

February 25, 2004 - The Autumn Twilight campaign has officially ended with the only player character to survive, God, reaching Bremerhaven in Germany at the end of Going Home. The intent of this campaign has always been to play through all of the modules, Escape from Kalisz, the Free City of Krakow, Pirates of the Vistula, Ruins of Warsaw, the Black Madonna and Going Home.

Now that these modules are done, we are putting Twilight to rest for a while to play other things, but may come back to T2K to play the modules set in America.

There are still a ton of updates to do to this journal, which I should have up in the next week or two.

September 8, 2003 - More updates to the campaign log, which I have split into days, since it was getting cumbersome to load. The dust has settled and the Baron's forces have been overcome, and the Ruins of Warsaw has been wrapped up for the most part. On to the Black Madonna.

April 22, 2003 - Updated the campaign log with more updates. The battle is joined for control of the Ruins of Warsaw. Who will win? The Community of Sielce or the forces of the Black Baron?

February 24, 2003 - Finally updated the campaign log with some long overdue updates. The group is progressing through the Ruins of Warsaw module nicely.

June 27, 2002 - Vistula Queen R.I.P. The Pirates of the Vistula Module has officially ended with the sinking of the Vistula Queen near the turning basin of the community of Sielce.

April 19, 2002 - The smoke has cleared and the boats have sunk and the Vustula Queen has reach Warsaw. We finished the Pirates of the Vistula Module the other night. Check out the details in the campaign log. We'll be starting the Ruins of Warsaw when we game next.

March 8, 2002 - I split apart the order of events into months so it loads faster. There were just too many images loading for its own good. The printable version is still the complete version but is now white text on black background so it shows up better on a printed page.

October 19, 2001 - For shitz and giggles we've switched game systems to the Aftermath! set of rules by Fantasy Games Unlimited. I've always felt that Aftermath was one of the best skills-based RPGs out there and has a combat system that goes into much greater detail than T2K does.

Basically I just got tired of the wierd abstractions that T2k did for the intent of simplifying combat (e.g. The M-16 having 10 shots, a 9mm Beretta holding two, etc.)

Fall, 2001 - We've gone through the Escape from Kalisz introductory adventure, the Free City of Krakow and are, as of September 2001, starting the Pirates of the Vistula River.
