| Welcome to Plague
Systemic! |
|
|
|
This page is dedicated to all things
Systemic,
an excellent mod akin to the Devastation
mod for Quake 2. I host a dedicated server here on Plague,
and this page holds information about it.
You can
pick up the mod, currently v 1.1.0, loaded as a mutator
for all gametypes here.

[An excerpt from the Systemic
home page]
After the
immense yet underground success of the Quake2 modification
Devastation (DevQ2), Systemic aims to bring a similar
amount of chaos to Unreal Tournament 2003. Systemic is,
as you might have guessed by now, a modification of Unreal
Tournament 2003 which introduces "Cygens" into
regular UT2003 combat. Cygens are large heavily armed
and armored mechs that move considerably slower than regular
players. They are roughly 4 times as tall and are 10 times
tougher than players, so you'll know them when you see
them. You might even hear them first, as they emit tremendous
footfalls that can be heard from afar. Cygens also have
an increased jumping ability allowing them to elevate
above players and come crashing down upon them, squishing
anything meaty below.

| About
the Server |
|
|
| The
server that Plague DevQ2 runs on is based around an Athlon
XP1600+ (1.4GHz) processor with 768 megs of RAM and four
SCSI hard drives in a RAID-5 array. To see more about the
server, head over to the PC
Mods section or click here. |
